On April 11, 2023 the rector of the Kyrgyz-Turkish Manas University Professor Alpaslan Ceylan and university teachers paid a working visit to the National Academy of Sciences of the Kyrgyz Republic. The President of the National Academy of Sciences of the Kyrgyz Republic Abdrakhmatov Kanatbek Ermekovich discussed the joint work between the two institutions with representatives of the Kyrgyz-Turkish Manas University. Professor Alpaslan Ceylan got acquainted with the work of the Institute of Language and Literature named after Ch. Aitmatov. Director of the Institute A. Akmataliev gave information about the ancient works in the Manuscript Fund, introduced them to their safety, versions of the Manas epic published by the Institute staff, folklore, manuscripts of poets, published works by Ch. Aitmatov and other works on Kyrgyz literature. In addition, an exchange of views took place on the work plans for the future joint work of the Manas University and the Institute of Language and Literature named after Ch. Aitmatov.
