On June 21, 2024, in the conference hall of the Academy, the President of the National Academy of Sciences of the Kyrgyz Republic, Corresponding member K.E. Abdrakhmatov held a meeting with the team of consultants of the Kambaratinskaya HPP-1 construction project.

As part of the Financing Agreement between the Kyrgyz Republic and the International Development Association for the project “Technical assistance for the Kambaratinskaya HPP-1 project”, signed on November 14, 2023, the process of updating the feasibility study of the Kambaratinskaya HPP-1 construction project with an installed capacity of 1,860 MW was launched. According to the results of the international tender, the consulting company “AFRY Switzerland Ltd.”, Switzerland, was recognized as the winner.
