On January 24, 2023, on the basis of the Law Academy of the Kyrgyz National University named after Zh. Balasagyn, the VII International Forum “Chyngyz Aitmatov – the spiritual wealth of the Kyrgyz-Kazakh people” was held and dedicated to the 95th anniversary of the birth of the Great writer Chyngyz Aitmatov.
The Forum was attended by Nurlanbek Shakiev, Speaker of the Jogorku Kenesh of the Kyrgyz Republic, Maulen Alimbaev, Chairman of the Senate of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Darkhan Kydyrali, Minister of Information and Social Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Ulanbek Mambetakunov, Minister of Education and Science of the Kyrgyz Republic of the Kyrgyz Republic, as well as well-known public figures and scientists of Kyrgyzstan.
The forum was moderated by the State Secretary of the Kyrgyz Republic Suyunbek Kasmambetov. At the forum, scientific reports were made on the work and social activities of Chingiz Aitmatov.
The event was organized by the Ministry of Education and Science of the Kyrgyz Republic, the National Academy of Sciences of the Kyrgyz Republic, the Kyrgyz National University named after Zhusup Balasagyn.
