The President of the National Academy of Sciences of the Kyrgyz Republic, Corresponding Member Abdrakhmatov K.E. received a delegation from China on February 15, 2023. The meeting was attended by Vice-President of the Xinjiang Branch of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, Professor Chen Shi, Professor Liu Wenjiang and Professor Mu Shuyong, Academician of the National Academy of Sciences of the Kyrgyz Republic M.S. Dzhumataev, Chief Scientific Secretary of the National Academy of Sciences of the Kyrgyz Republic, Corresponding Member B.M. Khudaibergenova and others.
There were discussed issues of development of scientific cooperation between the Academies of Sciences at the meeting.
Professor Chen Shi was awarded the title of Honorary Academician of the National Academy of Sciences of the Kyrgyz Republic and President of the National Academy of Sciences of the Kyrgyz Republic K.E. Abdrakhmatov received a diploma of the Honorary Academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences.
