On June 1, 2023 a meeting was held with the UNDP Resident Coordinator in the Kyrgyz Republic, Mrs. Antje Grawe with the President of the National Academy of Sciences, Corresponding Member Kanatbek Ermekovich Abdrakhmatov.

            Issues of bilateral cooperation in the field of science were discussed at the meeting.

            Mrs. Grawe noted the huge potential of the National Academy of Sciences and the need for mutually beneficial cooperation in the field of science. In turn, the President of the National Academy of Sciences of the Kyrgyz Republic Abdrakhmatov thanked Mrs. Grawe for her visit to the National Academy of Sciences.

            Mrs. Grawe visited the Zoological Museum of the National Academy of Sciences of the Kyrgyz Republic and the room of Ch. Aitmatov at the Institute of Language and Literature named after Ch. Aitmatov.
