On June 26, 2023 a new building of the Institute of Seismology of the National Academy of Sciences of the Kyrgyz Republic will be opened.
The Institute of Seismology of the National Academy of Sciences of the Kyrgyz Republic will have at its disposal a modern two-storey building of specialized purpose as the headquarters of the Institute and Research center.
Cooperation between AUCA and the Institute of Seismology began back in 2018 when a consortium was established. The goal is to improve the quality and safety of life of citizens of Kyrgyzstan and other Central Asian countries through interdisciplinary fundamental and applied research in the field of sustainable development, urbanism, seismology and seismic safety.
