On January 29, 2024,  a meeting of specialists was held in the small conference hall of the National Academy of Sciences of the Kyrgyz Republic The Training Center of the Social Fund of the Kyrgyz Republic with representatives of scientific research institutes of the National Academy of Sciences of the Kyrgyz Republic in charge of personnel issues, trade union activities, youth movements. In connection with the additions, information and explanatory work is being carried out “On pension provision and social insurance of citizens” to employees of state structures in order to to increase the pension literacy of the population.

Currently, there are more than 765 in the Kyrgyz Republic thousands of pensioners, 76% of them are elderly, and the average pension amount is 9221 thousand soms. Specialists of the Chyntemirov Training Center Atyrau Zakirovna and Koshokova Gulina Salybaevna spoke in great detail about pensions, all its types; how to index it, who can use a pension for mortgage lending; the availability of a list of diseases that allow you to receive funds from the State Pension Fund ahead of schedule; protection of the rights and pensions of migrants by signing a pension agreement workers of the EAEU member States, the Republic of Turkey, and the Republic of Korea. All information was accompanied by a slide show, which increased and consolidated the informative content of the lecture. Then there were answers to the questions of interest . Holding such explanatory seminars is very timely, since the Pension system is organically linked to the economic, socio-political life and the financial and budgetary sphere of the state.

The meeting was organized by the Department of Science and International Cooperation of the Presidium of the National Academy of Sciences of the Kyrgyz Republic.
