The President of the National Academy of Sciences of the Kyrgyz Republic K.E. Abdrakhmatov held a meeting with the President of the Foundation of Turkic Culture and Heritage Aktoty Raimkulova

From February 17 to 21, 2024, the newly appointed President of the Foundation for Turkic Culture and Heritage (then – FTCH, Foundation) Aktoty Raimkulova is on a working visit to Bishkek.

The main purpose of the foundation is to protect, study and disseminate the culture and heritage of the Turkic-speaking peoples.

FTCH A. Raimkulova appealed to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the KR with a request to organize a meeting with the President of the National Academy of Sciences of the Kyrgyz Republic K.E. Abdrakhmatov.

The Ministry, in turn, considered it appropriate to hold this meeting in order to discuss topical issues of cooperation between the Kyrgyz Republic and the FTCH, including prospects for the future, and on February 20, 2024, held a meeting in the National Academy of Sciences of the Kyrgyz Republic with the President of the National Academy of Sciences of the Kyrgyz Republic K.E. Abdrakhmatov, Chief Scientific Secretary B.M. Khudaibergenova, Ch. Director of the Institute of Language and literature named after CH. Aitmatov – A. Akmataliev,  Director of the Institute of History, Archeology and Ethnology named after B. Jamgerchinov – A. Asankanov, Director of the Institute of Philosophy named after A. Altmyshbaev  – N.K. Saralaev, Head of the Department of Science and International Cooperation T.E. Urusova, President of the Foundation A. Raimkulova and Project Manager of the Foundation   Mirbek Karybaev.

     During the meeting, the need to strengthen scientific ties was emphasized, issues of in-depth study of the heritage of the Turkic peoples, work with projects, and mutual logistical assistance were raised.
