On March 27, 2024, a meeting of the working group on the draft new version of the Family Code of the Kyrgyz Republic was held in the small conference hall of the National Academy of Sciences of the Kyrgyz Republic.

The meeting was chaired by the Minister of Labor, Social Security and Migration of the Kyrgyz Republic G.M. Batyrov.

Vice-President of the National Academy of Sciences of the Kyrgyz Republic, Academician Ch.I. Arabaev spoke about the main objectives of the meeting, about the work done by the working group up to that time and noted that the code was written in accordance with the requirements of modernity, at the level of preserving Kyrgyz traditions, customs, values. Opening the presentation ceremony of the project, the head of the Department for the Development of Family and Children Services of the Ministry of Labor, Social Security and Migration of the Kyrgyz Republic, B. Todogeldiyev, made a report.

B.B. Todogeldiev, Head of the Department for the Development of Services for Families and Children of the Ministry of Labor, Social Security and Migration of the Kyrgyz Republic, told the participants in detail about the draft family code.

Candidate of Law, Director of the Institute of State and Law A. Altybayeva, Doctor of Historical Sciences S. Kayypov, K. Moldokasymov, M. Imankulov, etc. joined the discussion of the draft of the new edition of the Family Code. The participants expressed their suggestions and opinions.

At the end of the meeting, Minister of Labor, Social Security and Migration of the Kyrgyz Republic G.M. Baatyrova expressed gratitude to the working group and wished success in its work.
