On April 1, 2024, the President of the National Academy of Sciences of the Kyrgyz Republic, K.E. Abdrakhmatov, accepted Prof. Yushanjiang Maimaiti, Deputy Director of the Institute of Plant Protection of the Xinjiang Academy of Agricultural Sciences.

Following the meeting, a Memorandum of cooperation was signed between the two Academies in the field of breeding, seed production, high-yield cultivation, integrated methods of disease and pest control, land reclamation and water-saving technologies, quality control and processing of agricultural products, the use of agricultural information technologies, agricultural machinery, greenhouse construction, etc.
