On April 2, 2024, the National Academy of Sciences of the Kyrgyz Republic and the Federal State Budgetary Institution of Science, the Siberian Federal Scientific Center for Agrobiotechnology of the Russian Academy of Sciences (SFNCA RAS) concluded an agreement on mutually beneficial cooperation, interaction and joint scientific and technical activities between the Parties in the field of life sciences, environmental management, instrumentation and experimental technical cooperation.

The objectives of the Agreement are: exchange of scientific knowledge, accumulated experience, joint scientific research, creation of joint laboratories, development of scientific, practical and methodological recommendations; identification of promising areas of training, professional retraining and advanced training of highly qualified specialists and scientific and pedagogical personnel; study of digital agricultural management systems; study of agrochemistry and its impact on sustainability systems; cooperation in the field of studying plant protection issues; cooperation in the field of veterinary medicine in the field of animal diseases and histological research; joint scientific and technical activities in the field of secondary metabolites of medicinal plants, in the field of fruit and berry crops breeding, animal and agricultural crops breeding, exchange of wild and cultural forms; development of joint publishing activities, mutual exchange of information and educational resources, etc.

The agreement on scientific and technical cooperation was signed by President of the National Academy of Sciences of the Kyrgyz Republic Abdrakhmatov Kanatbek Ermekovich and Director of the Federal State Budgetary Institution of Science “Siberian Federal Scientific Center for Agrobiotechnology of the Russian Academy of Sciences” (SFNCA RAS) Kirill Sergeevich Golokhvast.
