On June 5, 2024, an event dedicated to the World Environment Day was held at the E. Gareev BS Research Institute of the National Academy of Sciences of the Kyrgyz Republic.

The Association of Forestry and Land Users of the Kyrgyz Republic, headed by the head Burkhanov A.M., brought and planted seedlings together with employees of the E. Gareev BG Research Institute of the National Academy of Sciences of the Kyrgyz Republic.

50 pieces of wild apricot and 50 pieces of wild almonds were planted, as well as 30 bushes of 2 varieties of tea-hybrid roses with a closed root system. Landings were made in the ground floor of the E. Gareev Research BG Institute of the National Academy of Sciences of the Kyrgyz Republic at Akhunbayev 1a.

World Environment Day is celebrated annually on June 5. The event was established by the UN General Assembly at its 27th session by Resolution No. A/RES/2994 (XXVII) of December 15, 1972.
