VISITING CONFERENCE «FROM THE AUTONOMOUS REGION TO SOVEREIGNTY»

On June 6, 2024, a visiting conference “From the Autonomous Region to Sovereignty” was held at the E.Z. Gareev Botanical Garden Research Institute, dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the formation of the Kara-Kyrgyz Autonomous Region in accordance with Decree No. 270 of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic. The event was organized by the Trade Union Committee of the National Academy of Sciences of the Kyrgyz Republic.

 

Opening the event, Chairman of the trade union committee, Candidate of Historical Sciences Tynistan Arzybayev spoke about the historical significance of the 100th anniversary of the formation of the Kara-Kyrgyz Autonomous Region and about the plants in the greenhouse of the Botanical Garden, the reasons for their importation to Kyrgyzstan and then gave the floor to Doctor of Historical Sciences Aida Kubatova.

 

  1. Kubatova spoke in detail about the works of I. Arabaev, K. Tynystanov, J. Abdrakhmanov, who worked hard to preserve the Kyrgyz nation as part of the Kara-Kyrgyz Autonomous Region.

 

The head of the greenhouse G. Kachikeeva, researcher N.S. Albanov and other experts told about the plants in the Botanical Garden, their varieties.

 

At the visiting conference, scientists from the institutes of the National Academy of Sciences expressed their opinions, received answers to questions and, accompanied by specialists, made an excursion to the greenhouse, where they got acquainted in detail with plant species and their “history”.

 

At the end of the event, the chairman of the trade union committee, Candidate of Historical Sciences T. Arzybayev expressed deep gratitude to the staff of the greenhouse of the Botanical Garden, as well as to all participants of the visiting conference!
