The President of the National Academy of Sciences of the Kyrgyz Republic, corresponding member Abdrakhmatov K.E. and Academician Borubaev A.A. visited Qingdao University and the Chinese Academy of Sciences from July 2, 2024 to July 9, 2024.

         The purpose of the meeting was to visit the Center for the Transformation of Scientific Research Achievements, the Center for Analysis and Testing, the Laboratory of Intelligent Supercomputers and Big Data of Qingdao University.

         The Chinese Academy of Sciences got acquainted with the activities of the Institute of Semiconductors, the Institute of Physics, and visited one of the largest supercomputing centers in Southeast Asia.

         During meetings with the leadership of scientific centers in China, agreements were reached on the opening of a supercomputer center at the National Academy of Sciences of the Kyrgyz Republic, and a memorandum of mutually beneficial cooperation was signed. In response, the President of the National Academy of Sciences of the Kyrgyz Republic, Corresponding Member Abdrakhmatov K.E. invited the Rector of Qingdao University to take part in commemorative events in honor of the 70th anniversary of the formation of the Academy of Sciences of Kyrgyzstan.
